Tread Self-Study Path of Sacred Words To Make Meaning: Poem
The Book, a sacred, whispered thing,
Demands we learn what meanings sing.
Not just to read, but think and feel,
Its threads of truth, profoundly real.
The themes, like stars, we learn to find,
A map of thought within our mind.
Reflections woven, strong and bright,
To guide our steps with holy light.
First, learn alone, within the home,
Let scripture bloom, let wisdom come.
Then, gather round, and share the thought,
What self has learned, what God has wrought.
Self-study deep, a crucial start,
To understand with head and heart.
The world's a maze, a tangled place,
Scripture's wisdom sets the pace.
Lest faith be shallow, quick, and brief,
Self-study grants a sure relief.
From simple answers, blindly taught,
To knowledge sound, diligently sought.
To lead with strength, and serve with grace,
Self-study builds a solid base!
