The New Age School: A Poem
The New Age School: A Poem
The bell rings loud, a brand new day,
For little hearts to learn and play.
No rigid rows, no heads bowed low,
But helping hands, where friendships grow.
(Chorus):
Teach them kindness, true and deep,/
Teach them kindness, true and deep,/
Secrets of the heart to keep./
Ethics, Humility's gentle grace,/
A better world, in time and space.
In groups they work, with eager eyes,
Solving puzzles, reaching for skies.
Creative minds, a thinking spree,
Finding answers, wild and free.
The screen's bright glow, a tempting lure,
But one short hour, is all they're sure.
Ten percent now, the digital way,
More time for stories, games to play.
(Chorus)
Forget the facts, if hearts are cold,
A value of honesty, worth more than gold.
Integrity's light, a guiding star,
To show them who they truly are.
So let us build, a school so bright,
Where good shines through, with all its might.
And children learn, with open soul,
To make the world, a beautiful whole.
