 Jnana Yoga Precept of the Bhagavad Gita: Haiku

 Word jñana connotes
To know, perceive, apprehend
Realise, codify 
Humans've innate gift
To search for meaning and wisdom
And, know the knower 
In jñana yoga
Wisdom is sought and derived
By knowing True Self 
Body-senses-mind -
That’s action field of knowing
For Knower of Field 
Knower must know first -
Be aware of mind-n-senses
To be educated 
Unbiased senses-n-mind
Objective-pure witness mind
Makes us wise knower 
Know first, foremostYour field-relationship as
Master of your mind 
Of five evils – lust, rage, greed
Ego, falsehood
 
Realise your Truth
As soul – pure awareness
As ego-free mind
 
Truth manifests
In a pure mind to realise
Your own soulfulness
 
The light of pure mind
Dispels your ignorance gloom
To make you soulful 
 
De-condition self
False-self formed by sensual traps
To live free from field
 
Shed materialism
Minimalize, be detached
From transient false world
 
Un-manifest false
Live unconditionally
Detached from false world
 
Body-mind-senses -
The confine, the trapping field -
Creates delusion-traps
 
Revere five elements
Earth, water, air, fire and sky
Shun consumerism
 
Purify five senses
Smash gratification-trap
To create true knowledge
 
Bless active senses
Creativity, movement
Food, chastity, speech
 
Cleanse all ten senses
Both cognitive-n-active ones
For a field-free life
 
Foremost duty is –
Un-conditioning senses
For field-free actions 
Field-free self-awareness -
Source of self-knowledge
 
Roused self-awareness
Will urge for union with God –
Supreme Consciousness

Purify your mind

Strive for pure-pious mind –
