Teacher's role in foster spirituality among kids: A poem

Little child with heart so bright,
Seeking meaning, day and night.
Teachers help child understand,
Life's big questions, hand in hand.

Not just prayers and stories told,
But wonders seen, both new and old.
A flower blooming, star so far,
Helps them ponder who they are.

Kindness grows with gentle care,
Sharing joy and burdens bear.
Strong child stands, when winds may blow,
Compassion's seeds begin to grow.

From lessons learned, to acts so kind,
A thoughtful heart, a peaceful mind.
Their own views blooming, fresh and free,
A better world, for you and me.

Yoga Day 2025 Theme: Yoga for One Earth, One Health

 The 11th edition of the UN proclaimed International Day of Yoga is going to be observed on June 21, 2025, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”.  According to the UN the theme 'echoes a vital truth that personal wellness and planetary health are inseparably linked.' "Yoga strengthens the body, calms the mind and fosters a heightened sense of awareness and responsibility in daily life. This mindfulness allows one to choose healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. In caring for ourselves, we begin to care for the Earth, reflecting the enduring Indian ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family," adds the UN.  Late Yoga guru B. K. S. Iyengar had once said, “Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day-to-day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions.”

  ADVENT OF QUANTUM SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY: A POEM   The quantum age has dawned, its time is now, But with a twist, a strange and wondrous bow, With superpositions, stories yet untold. An in-between state, mystery unveiled.   For qubits hold both zero and just one, A curious mix, simultaneously true, A spinning state, where choices are begun, A power that our classic bits ne'er knew.   And then entanglement, a bond so deep, Change one, the distant partner mirrors fast, A 'spooky action' that our secrets keep, A mystery where old logic cannot last.   From this strange science, wonders will unfold, A new computing, brave and truly bold. This quantum dance, a future we embrace, Technology reborn in time and space.
