A wonder poem on star for pre-adolescent child

A wonder poem on star for pre-adolescent child

Far, far away, a tiny spark,
A star sleeps in the endless dark.

I wonder what its light has seen,
Across the space, so vast, serene.

Far away, a world unknown,
Is star happy, all alone?

I close my eyes, and softly dream,
Of star-lit shores, a silver gleam.
