Understanding death is to understand purpose of life: Poem inspired by the Bhagavad Gita

Understanding death is to understand purpose of life:
Poem inspired by the Bhagavad Gita

Birth, aging 'n death, a path divinely laid,
The body fades, a part of life's own flow.
A mortal shell, on earthly journey swayed,
Soul lives on, where karma seeds softly grow.

But death's no end, a passage, not the last,
The soul departs, a light that cannot fade,
New journey starts, from past karma that're cast,
A new form waits, a life again is made.

Our bodies, vessels, built to hold the soul,
Through earthly trials, driven by desire,
By deeds we plant, we lose or take control,
Bound to this cycle, burning in the fire.

Detach, be mindful, live with open heart,
Then karmic chains will break, and freedom start.
To live with grace, with mind serene and free,
Unchains soul for blissful eternity.
