A poem inspired by J Krisnamurti's thoughts on education:
(Special on Teachers Day, Sep 5, 2025)
The truest learning blooms from inner sight,
A freeing of the self, a wholeness found.
No rigid walls of thought confine the light,
But open minds on unconditioned ground.
Not just the skills to earn a daily bread,
But wisdom's seed, to nurture and to grow,
A curious mind, by prejudice unfed,
That seeks to understand, and truly know.
To question, think, and create with grace,
To find the truth within, a guiding star.
To leave behind the passive, empty space,
And be aware of who and what we are.
This path of learning, let us bravely tread,
A full, free life of goodness lies ahead.
