Tranquil mind ends all sorrows
Mind unites with God

Restrain mind-n-senses
Deep practice contemplation
For peace, inner joy
 
BHAGAVAD GITA VERSE 2.67
Untamed mind, senses
Turn life into storm-tossed boat
Mind loses wisdom

Steadfast mindfulness
It occurs when mind is tamed -
Unattached mindset!

While worldly creatures
Are in gloomy transient world
Seers are awake-n-keen
 
BHAGAVAD GITA VERSE 2.70
A steadfast person
Is like an undisturbed sea
Sensual one’s restless
 
BHAGAVAD GITA VERSE 2.71
One who devoid of
Desires, ego, attachments
Attains blissful state
 
BHAGAVAD GITA VERSE 2.72
A God-realized soul
Trounces worldly delusions
To live blissfully

Iyengar had once said, “Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day-to-day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions.”
