SIGNIFICANCE OF GURU PURNIMA: A POEM

On Guru Purnima, we gather, hearts aligned,
In prayerful whispers, seeking grace divine,
A sacred day, where reverence intertwines,
With purpose 'n liberation, and spirits climb.

Life, a precious path to self-realization,
A journey of pursuit, a dance of dedication,
In bonds of devotion, seekers and guides
Expressing gratitude, where love abides.

Reflecting on the path of a faithful disciple,
Embracing wisdom, choosing learning’s cycle,
Over fleeting pleasures, the allure of fame,
We find our essence, rejecting empty gain.

In meditation’s stillness, we whisper our thanks,
To Gurus, who lead, through life’s winding banks.
Learning, a fragrance that lingers and grows,
An enduring innate joy, in the heart it bestows.

So on Guru Purnima, let us cherish  learning bond
To deepen our journey, to guru reverely respond
For life is a canvas, where purpose unfolds,
In the tapestry woven, our true selves are told.
