MESSAGE OF THE BHAGAVAD GITA CHAPTER 14

Chapter 14 of the Bhagavad Gita
Poem on "The Yoga of the Division of the Three Gunas" or
Three Modes of Material Nature

In every breath of life, the cycle spins,
Binding souls to dance of death 'n birth,
Three basic modes of living shape existence,
Lord Krishna  reveals truths of the vast earth.

Goodness, Passion, Ignorance have own hues,
Goodness, a light of knowledge, joy, and grace,
Those swayed by Sattva are peaceful and true,
Seek wisdom’s embrace in this timeless space.

Rajas ignites with passion, restless fire,
Driven by desires, ambition takes flight,
A tempest of activity, never to tire,
Yet leaves the heart yearning for quiet light.

Tamas, the shadow of ignorance and delay,
Wraps souls in confusion, like a heavy shroud,
Inertia 'n lust reign, leading minds astray,
Where path ahead is obscured, vain 'n proud.

These three gunas weave ties to the material,
Through attachments and cravings, we're confined,
Yet Lord Krishna reveals a path, ethereal —
Through Yoga paths, liberation we can find.

Transcending the gunas, soul finds its flight
Embracing the truth, we awaken to Moksha light.
In equanimity’s grace, we get fearless, unafraid,
Treating all beings with the same serenade.
