MESSAGE OF BHAGAVAD GITA CHAPTER 17

Chapter 17 of the Bhagavad Gita
Poem on "Shraddhatraya Vibhaga Yoga" or
"The Yoga of the Threefold Division of Faith"

In the heart of the spirit, 'faith' takes flight,
Three traits shape it, weaving life wrong and right
Goodness, passion, ignorance, each a guiding star,
In every choice we make, they whisper near and far.

Sattva, pure and bright, a beacon of the soul,
In knowledge 'n harmony, it finds its noble role.
With selfless acts, it nurtures love's embrace,
In the garden of devotion, it cultivates grace.

Rajas, a flame of desire, ignites the restless heart,
In pursuit of fleeting gains, it plays a fervent part.
It bows to demigods, seeking power and acclaim,
Yet leaves behind a shadow, a fleeting, hollow fame.

Tamas, shrouded in gloom, a superstitions' snare,
In ignorance it wanders, lost in whispered air.
Clings its to ghosts 'n shadows, in fear's tight grip,
A path that clouds the vision, a spiritual eclipse.

The faith we hold, a compass guiding every choice,
In diet, in austerity, it echoes through our voice.
Sattvic faith, the highest, where virtue softly sways,
Aligns with selfless actions, lighting up our ways.

Chant "Om Tat Sat" , before each deed you start,
Purifying every action, connecting heart to heart.
In this mystical embrace, let faith’s essence gleam,
A dance of spirit’s longing, a living, sacred dream.
