Bhagavad Gita Chapter 16: Divine and Demonic Qualties

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 16
Poem on "Daivasura-Sampad-Vibhaga Yoga" or
"Divine and Demoniac Qualities"

In shadows cast where spirits dwell,
Two natures clash, a tale to tell,
Divine and demoniac, side by side,
In mind's chamber, they both reside.

Fearlessness shines, a beacon of light,
Purity whispers in the still of night,
Knowledge, the key to liberation's door,
While lust and anger pull us to the floor.

Greed’s grasp tightens, a chain of despair,
Demons dance in the corners of care,
Yet steadfastness blooms in the garden of grace,
Charity’s touch, a warm, soft embrace.

With self-control as our guiding star,
Endurance walks with us, never afar.
In scripture's embrace, wisdom takes flight,
Austerity whispers of truths wrapped in light.

Born with a spark, yet choices to make
Through self-awareness, chains we can shake.
In knowledge's glow, ignorance fades,
Righteous paths flourish, and virtue cascades.
