Essence of Buddhism: A Poem

Essence of Buddhism: A Poem

Cravings bring us suffering,
And sensations weave in strife
Ego’s whisper breeds sorrow,
As body, senses, mind collide.

Wisdom blooms when we stay in the present,
Inner light shines when desires are absent.
Compassion, self-reflection 'n observation
Lead us to open the doors to liberation.

Cycles of rebirth find their end,
In the quiet of a mind set free.
A journey woven in the stillness,
Where we embrace what it means to be.

In mindfulness, we find the path we seek
A tranquil kind mind where freedom peaks.
