The Bhagavad Gita Chapter 15, Verse 7: Meaning, emphasis and English couplet

The Bhagavad Gita Chapter 15, Verse 7:

Sanskrit Verse

ममैवांशो जीवलोके ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूत: सनातन:

मन:षष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति 15.7

Meaning: An eternal fragment of God or Supreme Soul has become the living embodied soul in the world of life. In other words, the living entities in this conditioned world are God’s eternal fragmental parts.
Emphasis: The need is to un-condition and move beyond six senses, which include the mind ignorant of  soul-existence

English Couplets

A spark ascends, a light takes flight,
To join the flame, and know its might.

A single drop-soul, released in world to roam,
Self-discovers to find ocean 'n calls it home.

A timeless God, a spirit bright,
Finds union in the endless light.

Self-knowing, a whispered plea,
The soul gets at peace, eternally.
