Two QUATRAINS ON SI

 Beyond the realms of mind, ego and intellect
Reins spiritual intelligence, a guiding connect
It’s the wisdom that transcends mortal space
Manifested as witness stance with quiet grace

Spiritual intelligence is aim for its own worth
To realise the beauty of liberation from rebirth
No worldly gain matches wealth of spiritual growth
Being soulful with soul to soul connect be our oath

TWO HAIKU ON SI

SI - when stirred sheen
Creates harmony - pure and keen
Beyond earthly scene
***
SI is in-worth
Act of divine, virgin birth
Life of bliss and mirth

Yoga Day 2025 Theme: Yoga for One Earth, One Health

 The 11th edition of the UN proclaimed International Day of Yoga is going to be observed on June 21, 2025, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”.  According to the UN the theme 'echoes a vital truth that personal wellness and planetary health are inseparably linked.' "Yoga strengthens the body, calms the mind and fosters a heightened sense of awareness and responsibility in daily life. This mindfulness allows one to choose healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. In caring for ourselves, we begin to care for the Earth, reflecting the enduring Indian ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family," adds the UN.  Late Yoga guru B. K. S. Iyengar had once said, “Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day-to-day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions.”
