It is all the more desirable to make inservice teacher and educator development experiential and action learning based in the present times. of fast changing technology. The mastery over techniques of action research, in-house research, lesson studies, contextual intervention designing, creation of alternative learning resources, etc., is required in order to build the capacity of teachers and empower them since best for teachers too is 'learning by doing'

"Experience is the teacher of all things,” this is what Julius Caesar had said long ago. It is through action learning techniques involving planning, acting or doing, reflecting or reviewing and refining cyclic phases, an experience causes learning and development.  Thus, real learning is learning by doing rest is mere consumption of inert informance and useless cognitive load of words both for teachers and students.
