He was great spiritualist, seeker, saint, social reformers and poet of 16th Century and his work has been incorporated in 

Holy Sikh scripture Sri Guru Granth Sahibji. He is regarded a lead saint of Bhakti Movement of India who believed in purification of mind as the first and foremost duty of human being to lead a devotional life.

What is perceived

By mind-n-senses

Is not Truth

It's to be discovered within

Truth is beyond thoughts

Truth is timeless, spaceless

Truth is transcendental

It's pure-awareness

Self-discovery, self-knowledge

Self-realization are paths

World is illusions

Awareness alone will

Overcome illusions

Dispel darkness of ignorance

Deem transient world false

Just be detached witness

For eternal awareness

To manifest-n-reveal
