    As the nation observes Mahatma Gandhi's 76th death anniversary as Martyrs' Day on January 30, 2024, it would be pertinent to revisit the philosophy of life Gandhiji lived by. Though, he had clarified that there was nothing like Gandhism, since he lived by certain ideals picked up through study of scriptures and inspiration drawn from the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.


    Here, I have summarised the precepts and principles on which he had lived his life and acted in the world. 


ABC POEM ON GANDHIJI'S PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE

A: Acceptance of unity of thought, speech and action as Truth

B: Brahmacharya viewed as control of senses, non-transgression and simplicity

C: Concept of non-violence and non-violent resistance for liberation from subjugation and being prepared to die rather to kill

 Vidya Bharati Run Girls School in Jaipur Receives Commonwealth Award for Maths Project Led by Dr Lalit Kishore Association for Science Education (ASE) 2024 Annual Conference was held from 4th to 6th January at the University of Northampton's Waterside Campus in the United Kingdom. The ASE Conference Technicians day (5th January) was officially sponsored by Philip Harris, part of the Findel Group. The Commonwealth Association of Science, Technology and Mathematics Educators (CASTME) partnered with Findel International Education Resources and Philip Harris to sponsor awards. The names of the award recipients are announced at the ASE conference.   C'Wealth Award for Dr Kishore for math education innovation at girls' school of Vidya Bharati in Jaipur The Annual Conference of Association of Science Education (ASE)-2024 was held at the University of Northampton's Waterside Campus in January, from the 4th to the 6th inclusive, informed the organizers. The UK's largest gathering of science educators from across the education spectrum witnessed more than 250 sessions with keynotes, speakers and workshops.  There was also an exhibition of science education organisations, social events and a special schools exhibition for local schools to showcase science projects.
